This book is dedicated to the blessed memory of my grandmother, Alexandra Nikiforovna Borovikova, who survived the Great Patriotic War and the Siege of Leningrad. Unfortunately, I did not know my grandmother, but the surviving diaries of the siege allowed me to recognize her as a strong, courageous person who was not afraid of difficulties in life, and who was ready to defend her own opinion and fight any troubles.
