Nella periferia di Brooklyn, infatti, è stato ritrovato un corpo orribilmente mutilato da quello che la gente e i mass media hanno soprannominato il Tagliagole, proprio per via del suo modus operandi. Tocca quindi a Stacie, affiancata dall'immancabile Frank Berrimow, dipanare la matassa.
