Francis Durbridge

Francis Henry Durbridge, a talented writer, was born on November 25, 1912, in Hull. He gained fame not only as the author of mysteries for radio and television but also as a playwright and novelist. In total, he wrote 43 novels. In 1940, Durbridge tied the knot with Norah Lawley, and they had two sons. The writer passed away at the age of 85 in his home in Barnes in 1998.
