Sheepdog Dushka flew past Julia like a bullet and also disappeared into the darkness. Another SUV immediately appeared and stopped next to Julia's car. Joyful Scott jumped out and rushed to hug Julia and his son.

Alex also came out and began to call Dushka. She quickly ran back from the darkness with a guilty look - apparently, she had lost the trail…

Julia was just beside herself with happiness - how glad she was to see all beloved faces, including Dushka's muzzle!!! But she still could not calm down…

“Did you see?! Have you noticed!? Have you seen the jeep!?” Julia screamed.

“Someone kind of drove off quickly,” Alex remarked. “Something big and dark, but without headlights, quickly disappeared… Someone you know?”

“I don’t know, I didn’t see it well, it seemed to me…” Julia said hesitantly and shook her head. “No, I was just so scared, so many different thoughts lately, all sorts of shadows of the past are seen everywhere… I was on antidepressants for too long, I guess. How glad I am that you found me! I really don't remember how I got here…”

“This is right next to our house, Julia!” Scott said.

Scott and Alex exchanged worried looks. Alex and Dushka got into Julia's car, to drive brave dog home. Dushka saved everyone!!!

… Alex, with his blond dreadlocks and thick red beard, looked as a very different man. He gave up drinking long ago, married a local beauty Clarissa and became the father of two wonderful twins. Art and tourism, family idyll - everything has transformed him almost beyond recognition. He looked kind of enlightened, or something. For all the time he was looking for Scott's wife and son, he was calm and collected.

And now, driving the car along the night road with one hand, Alex called Zina and Denis to inform them about the happy find.

“Hello!! Yes, it's me! They are found, everything is in order! Who did find them? Of course, Dushka! It was not in vain that we took her, she jumped out of the car window with lightning speed and led us straight to Julia with the baby. There was another car, I didn't have time to make it out. The car disappeared suspiciously quickly, turning off the headlights. Maybe someone wanted to take advantage of the helplessness of a young woman and a child in a remote place at night. What's interesting is, that it's very close to Scott's house. Behind the house, there is the abandoned road, leads to nowhere, almost no one drives there. Julia looked completely lost, she must have been looping all day… Yes, she is not quite herself. We must keep an eye on the whole family. Scott alone will not be able to cope… Yes, now I will call my wife and go home, only I'll return Julia's car… And then I'll bring Dushka to Roger! Yes! Good dog Dushka! We're talking about you! You saved everyone!!!”

Alex patted the scruff of the shepherd's neck and dialed his wife. He smiled happily as he listened to the dial tone. Soon he would return home, tell Clarissa about the amazing adventures of this evening. His wife had some indescribable wisdom of a creative person, intuition or something.

Alex managed to notice how strange Julia's son looked – very large for his age, with an elongated skull.

Maybe this explained the latest problems in the family of Julia and Scott? Was the baby born sick? None of the Russians have seen the baby or visited the home of young parents after the birth of their son… How strange!

Everything needed to be discussed with his wife and friends. No need to jump to conclusions. Everything should to be talked over and investigated in proper order.

Chapter 4

England the land of aliens. Olga starts to recall

For the first time in the past few years, Olga spent the whole evening alone, without Vladimir. And she was surprised, how the feeling of lost and emptiness gradually engulfed her all.

Vladimir and Olga became close during this time almost at the level of basic instincts. They did not leave each other out of sight, looked around, called up, constantly checked each other's presence in the safe proximity.

Actually, there was nothing strange in the fact, that this evening Vladimir and Lyudmila, as brother and sister, would love to have dinner together, especially after years of separation.

Over the last few years, Olga did not develop much of romantic feelings for Vladimir, but they were firmly connected by an incomprehensible interdependence. Vladimir felt the same and tried not to leave Olga alone for a long time. They were like comrades in misfortune and both did not fully understand the nature of their relationship.

When Vladimir proposed to Olga and Olga almost automatically agreed, they both accepted this as a logical continuation of their relationship. Maybe the fact that they both spent all these years in foreign lands rallied them as well. However, that was not all, and Olga could not fully understand, what was holding them together.

Here in England, especially this evening, Olga seemed to see both herself and her fiancé from a side.

Olga was on the top floor of a house in Eaton Square, Vladimir's level. She immediately fell in love with the sunny room next to their bedroom. It was a special room, like a mini-library, small and cozy, with comfortable seating cushions on the wide sills of tall arched windows overlooking the park.

At first Olga settled comfortably on the windowsill with a book and a blanket, but she couldn't concentrate on reading.

Then Olga admired the wonderful autumn view outside the window for a long time. After a while she turned on the TV. The remote control was found nearby, on a high stand by heavy window curtains of deep burgundy color.

The TV came to life, and the gray-haired gentleman, who looked like a scientist, began to talk about the aliens. The gentleman turned out to be a former military man who spent all his free time in his retirement years in search of the truth about the source of all the strange events in England. All of his explanations were ending up with aliens, and with amusing enthusiasm.

Olga smiled - what darlings these Britons were! She was listening so as not to be bored alone. The longer this former army intelligence officer and the current ufologist spoke, the more he reminded Olga of someone. Someone close, who was always reducing everything to the topic of aliens.

The gray-haired ufologist was telling quite engageable, how long ago, in one of the forests of England, not far from a military base, two military men saw a strange glow in the forest. When they went in the direction of the glow, they stumbled upon a small clearing on a real flying saucer, rather small, three meters in diameter at most. On the side of the saucer were inscriptions in strange letters, which one of the militaries sketched down in his notebook. The flying saucer was still warm.

Then the UFO took off and suddenly disappeared into the sky. Almost immediately, one of the militaries wrote down in his notebook a long, several pages message, consisting of ones and zeros! This was at a time when even the military did not hear about computers and programming! Only many years later, already in our time, programmers deciphered the message as a greeting and warning to people from aliens!
