Perun thanked the shaman for his help and rode South, then Southeast, to the border with Mongolia.

Mongols

"Sain baina uu", said the girl warmly.

Meanwhile, from South to North, Tang rode toward them. She didn't want to stop for the night, but the horse was tired and needed rest. Dismounting in the middle of the steppe, Tang led the horse to the river to let her drink. At that moment, a loud bang from behind startled the horse, and it broke free and galloped back to its master. Tang glanced back: two strange young men were running towards her, clearly with evil intentions. Tang in her clothes jumped into the water and swam along the riverbed, hiding in the coastal grass. The guys ran to the water, but did not notice the girl, then they began to quarrel among themselves and soon fought. Tang, pushing aside the bushes, went to the other side of the river, and then realized that her phone was irrevocably wet. Shivering, she walked North across the meadow toward the Russian border. "Eh, why didn't we set a meeting place? What should I do now?" She sat down on the grass and began to wring out the things that were wet on her and in the backpack. The phone showed no signs of life, and the only thing still possible was to ask the local residents for the Internet. But how does she know if they're aggressive or not? She got up and walked on. Not far from the road huddled one after another Mongolian yurts: the settlement began. The octagonal buildings with the roof window were all closed. Tang always used on-line dictionary, and easily understood Pen’s records and all the conversations with foreigners. Suddenly one of the doors opened, and a girl of about seventeen, with two long pigtails, wearing trousers and a thin sweater, appeared on the threshold.

"Ni Hao", Tang answered automatically.

"Guten tag", the first one continued.

"Bon jour", Tang said.

"Hello", the first one said again.

"Hello", the second girl said. Finally, they found a common language. The girl's name was Jargal, she lived in this settlement all alone, the others left or disappeared. But Jargal was a skilled hunter, and she was good with weapons. In addition, the huge guard dog in her hut discouraged any desire to get close to her. Tang said that she hopes to meet with the young man from Russia to continue the search for a way out of the modern impasse of history.

Jargal decided to join them. Calling for the dog and the faithful horse, she closed the Yurt, propped it up with a stick, and followed Tang. They were able to access the Internet via Jargal's phone and informed Per that they were heading to the Russian border. It was about 20 kilometers on foot, but they climbed on horse in turn to rest, so they quickly covered the entire distance. At the border, the disciplined soldiers looked at their documents and without delay allowed them to enter the territory of Russia, although the horse had to be sent to graze while waiting for the mistress. And on the other side of the border, Perun was already standing, waiting for the appearance of two girls known only by correspondence.

In the Altai mountains

The guards' unfeeling eyes paid no attention to the girls or Per. They hurriedly ran through the girls documents and, without blinking, looked at the pile of their papers.

Perun held out his hand to Tang and Jargal, and patted the dog's withers.

They climbed to the top of a nearby hill, built a fire, and sat down to eat.  Perun read the news of the network: after the storm that violated the integrity of the borders and brought chaos to the work of border guards, the world Council decided to create an elite society of Arcadia. All processes of life control in this society were carried out with the help of machines. Built on the territories of Italy and North Africa, this oasis offered all the well-off inhabitants of the world a carefree existence. In order to prevent the settlers of Arcadia from harming others, they took a cocktail of joy every morning. This new invention of doctors filled all those who drank with carelessness and a sense of happiness. Like children, the new settlers of Arcadia frolicked on the beaches day after day, eating sweets and chatting sweetly with each other. The disadvantage of this drug was complete atrophy of mental activity. But as the irritability, lust, and other passions of the human soul went with it, more and more people paid for living in Arcadia, moving there for comfort and security.

"It is interesting", Perun commented on the news, "it turns out that now all the wealth of the world will be concentrated in Arcadia, and the rest of the people will be left to their fate".

"Money decide everything", Tang said.

"Yes, but our savings aren't enough to live in Arcadia, so are we going to die?" Jargal asked.

"It remains for us to make our own country of happiness for people like ourselves. ", concluded Perun, "What should we call it? "

"Virusomahia", suggested Tang.

That day, on a hill in the Altai Mountains, three young people launched this idea to the Internet: "in contrast to Arcadia, for everyone who is ready to fight with the passions inside and resist the evil in the world around us, we are creating Virusomahia. We will be the first to try to live in the wild, getting everything necessary for life with our labor and resisting the psychovirus with willpower and love for all the good people with whom life has brought us together." After writing this, they went up the slope and found a meadow with a deep mountain lake. On the shore of this lake they decided to build the first Yurt of the new settlement.

Several months passed, there were already 5 houses in the settlement, and new people came. Shaman Ochumai sent a couple of horses and four goats to help the young people, and their life became more and more like a good-neighborly community of the distant past. In the middle of the settlement there was a bathhouse, which Perun decorated with Altai herbs. All new arrivals passed the test, remaining locked in the bath for three days. There they fought with evil thoughts and came victorious or escaped from the mountain forever. In other places around the world young people created similar settlements: in the Caucasus, in Georgia and the Crimea, and even in Italy itself, not far from Arcadia.

The End Of Arcadia

Few years has passed. During this time, Perun managed to visit aunt Vera and moved her and grandfather Athanas in Virusomahia. The same truckers loaded a Desk, books, and dog Gavrik into the back of the truck and drove them to the Altai mountains.  The Internet was flooded with news from Arcadia: "a new giant water Park has been built, and now the settlers will be able to enjoy the sea breeze and the gentle streams of the Adriatic in any weather. Photos of happy arcadians should have make jealous the rest of the World's population: round-cheeked, smiling, in bright swimsuits, they really were as in Paradise on earth. But in the rest of the world, the cities were empty, and the people who remained working in the factories worked tirelessly day and night to earn money for living in Arcadia. Their lives lost all color of emotions and discoveries, turning into a daily routine of work, in addition to the action of a strong tranquilizer that can suppress the psychovirus in them. And then one day, either under the influence of a particularly strong gust of acid wind, or figuring that they would only be able to earn a living in Arcadia in old age, the workers of all the factories went on strike, and, scattered with envy and anger, destroyed the dam that was located above the oasis of Arcadia. The floodwaters washed away sun beds and colorful umbrellas, along with obese settlers who took the huge wave for a new attraction and madly rushed into the water to their own destruction. The water swept away the entrance turnstiles, villas, and banks located on the territory of Arcadia.  The floating bills attracted money-hungry workers, and they also disappeared in the water, mechanically continuing to grab for money.

New beginning

And Perun and his friends, and the inhabitants of all Virusomahia around the world, in their daily work continued to cultivate the land, raise children, make cheese and spin thread, sew shirts and knit socks, relying on their own feat and the supporting love of good people, which our sinful, and at the same time the Holy Land never lacked.

The end
