Saturn has been in your 6th house of health since October 2012, and will remain there for almost the whole year ahead. However, this transit can also make a person ultra conservative in health matters, unwilling to try new and perhaps beneficial therapies. Just because something is new doesn’t mean that it is bad. Neptune, as we mentioned, is now in your 10th house of career for the long term – for the next 12 or so years. This brings idealism to the career, as we said. The activities of the politicians and rulers are merely the end result of changes that were made by individuals meditating alone.

You begin your year with the planetary power mostly in the upper half of the Horoscope, with at least 60 per cent and sometimes 70 per cent of the planets in the top hemisphere. You are in the late morning of your year – a time to be physically active and to pursue your goals in a physical kind of way, by the methods of day. It is safe and advisable to let go of family and emotional issues for a while and focus on your career and outer objectives. For the next few months, you are in a cycle of career success.

The planetary power is also mostly in the West – the social sector. Personal independence is not yet what it should be or will be. It is more difficult to change conditions and circumstances, so rather adapt to them as best you can. Take note of what displeases you and when the cycle of personal independence comes – and it will – you can make the appropriate changes. They will happen easily and naturally then. For now, cultivate your social skills. Your way might not be the best way at this time. Consult with others, take advice, and work for consensus and co-operation.

Finances, overall, will be wonderful in the year ahead. You will see substantial increases in earnings and in your overall net worth. Love is more complicated this month. The love planet, Jupiter, is retrograde all month, so there is a feeling of being ‘directionless’ in love and in a current relationship. This is a time for reviewing the love life, not for decision making. Short-term stressful transits to Jupiter can give you a false impression of the state of a current relationship and to your love prospects in general. Review, get the facts, and allow love to develop as it will. Love will improve after the 20th.

What the Cosmos gave last month it takes away this month. This month there are NO new Moons – also highly unusual. Overall prosperity is still intact however. Jupiter is still occupying your money house. Earnings are accruing but not as much as last month. The full Moon of the 14th will be a powerful financial day – also the waxing Moon period from the 1st to the 14th.

Your 9th house of religion, travel and learning was strong last month and remains so until the 18th. Thus foreign lands call to you. Travel is in the air. Opportunities will come. This is also an excellent period for students – they should do well in their studies. The interest and passion for learning is there and this is 90 per cent of success. Those of you of a religious bent will have religious and philosophical breakthroughs. This is a good period for the study of sacred literature.

On the 18th you enter one of your yearly career peaks, although you will feel the effects of this before that date. Mercury, the ruler of your Horoscope, crosses the Mid-heaven and enters the 10th house on the 1st. He will basically ‘camp out’ – make what is called a ‘station’ – right on Neptune, your career planet, until the 13th. This shows career success and elevation. You are on top for a while, in charge, above everyone in your world. However, Mercury will go retrograde on the 6th and you will start to back away from this. Perhaps it is not what you thought it would be. You seem unsure as to whether you want this. Mercury will be retrograde until the 28th and it will be good to review your personal and career aspirations now. In spite of Mercury’s retrograde, you will have career success. Next month might be better, but this month is OK.

It is still good to focus on the career and to let family issues go for a while. With Mercury retrograde there’s not much to be done to solve family problems – only time will solve them.

Mercury’s station on Neptune is not only a good career aspect but a highly spiritual one too. The dream life will be more active – and perhaps prophetic. ESP (extra-sensory perception) faculties will be enhanced. Spiritual breakthroughs are likely. When these things happen it is most joyous – these breakthroughs tend to be ‘game changers’.
