The distinctive feature of the King of Wands is that he is the immutable Law for the structural connections, chances, parameters, possibilities under his control.

For example, the laws of physics provide a number of possibilities or limitations for certain scenarios.

A "reversed" King of Wands is a King who, for some reason, isn't fulfilling his role.

For example, an expired visa.

Ace of Wands

Dr. Mark was a well-known oncologist.

One day, he flew to an important conference in another city, where he was to be honored for his work in the medical field. However, an hour after takeoff, the plane had to make an emergency landing at the nearest airport. The doctor rented a car and drove to the conference.

But shortly after he left, bad weather broke out, and it began storming. The heavy rain disrupted the Internet connection on his navigator, the doctor made a wrong turn, and got lost.

After two hours of driving around, he realized that he was completely lost. He was hungry and exhausted, so he decided to look for a place to stay. Finally, the doctor came across a small house. In despair, he got out of his car and knocked on the door.

A woman opened.

He explained his situation and asked if he could use her phone. The woman replied that she didn't have a phone, but he could come inside and wait for the storm to end.

Hungry, wet and tired, the doctor accepted her invitation and entered. The woman gave him some hot tea and said she was going to pray. Dr. Mark smiled and said that he only believes in hard work.

Sitting at the table and drinking his tea in the dim candlelight, the doctor watched as the woman prayed next to a crib. The doctor realized that the woman needed help, so, when she finished praying, he asked her:

– What exactly do you want from God? Do you really believe that He will ever hear your prayers?

The woman smiled sadly and replied:

– The baby in the crib is my son. He suffers from a rare type of cancer, and there's only one doctor who can cure him – his name is Dr. Mark, but I don't have enough money to pay him. What's more, Dr. Mark lives in another city. God hasn't answered my prayer yet, but I know that He will help… and nothing will shatter my faith.

Dumbfounded, the doctor fell into deep thought.

Through tears, he whispered in shock:

– God is Great…

He recalled everything that had happened to him that day: the technical plane problems, the torrential rain, which caused him to lose his way; and all this happened because God not only answered her prayer, but also gave him a chance to go beyond the material world and to help poor unfortunate people who have nothing but prayer…

Aces, according to the Kabbalah, are a primal source of Power, a manifestation of the Absolute, an overwhelming power or force, a force majeure.

Wands are chances, possibilities, parameters, structural connections.

Accordingly, the Ace of Wands is the "overwhelming" power of circumstances, chances, possibilities, parameters, structural connections.
