The multi-frequency of the Tarot
.
Two Jews come to a rabbi to resolve their dispute.
– Rebbe, I say that there's a moon in the sky.
– You're right.
– But he says it's a crescent.
– And he's right, too.
The rabbi's wife shouts from the kitchen:
– Solomon, it can't be that they're both right!
– Hmmmm.... And you, my dear, are also right.
.
A careful reader may have noticed that some images in this book were interpreted in various ways and that the symbolism of different cards was attributed to them.
This is, indeed, the case. And it's not a matter of mistakes on the part of the author (although, like all of us, he is subject to error).
It's about multiplicity[619 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplicity (https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%9C%D1%83%D0%BB%D1%8C%D1%82%D0%B8%D0%BF%D0%BB%D0%B5%D1%82)]. Or, in other words, about the multi-frequency of the Tarot.
The easiest way to approach the matter, in my view, is through the Fourier series.[620 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourier_series (https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A0%D1%8F%D0%B4_%D0%A4%D1%83%D1%80%D1%8C%D0%B5)]
.
.
Simply put, the formula has the following meaning:
Any existing signal may be represented as a set of frequencies of a certain amplitude and phase shift.
And the longer this set of frequencies, the more accurate the correlation between the spectral set and the original.
.
The inverse correspondence of the Fourier series, as applied to the Tarot, is as follows:
Any actual object, subject, or process may be represented, in Tarot symbolism, by several cards of the Minor Arcana.
And the more detailed and accurate the analysis of the original, the longer the chain of the card set symbolizing it.
If we examine the original very carefully, then the length of the set will tend to approach (in general) the length of an extended Minor Arcana deck (64 cards).
.
In other words, generally, any and every subject, object or process contains any and every card of the Minor Arcana.
.
In general, most members of such a spectral set will have a relatively small, minor, or insignificant weight, compared to the total weight of the set.
But, in any case, they must be present, even if their weight in this spectral set is almost nil.
In some instances of particularly pure "tuning fork" processes or states, their symbolic set may be a set where, in fact, only one or two cards from the entire deck have weight. The other cards of the set will have (for "tuning fork" states) practically zero weight.
.
For most objects or processes under consideration, their equivalent character set will contain 3 to 5 or 6 cards of significant weight, and a multitude of cards with a weakly expressed weight in the general set.
.
For a different take on the matter, consider the following examples:
.
Picture An average European male in ordinary clothes.[621 - Downloaded from https://pixabay.com/ru/photos/борода-лицо-человек-модель-усы-1845166 / (https://pixabay.com/ru/photos/%D0%B1%D0%BE%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B4%D0%B0-%D0%BB%D0%B8%D1%86%D0%BE-%D1%87%D0%B5%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B5%D0%BA-%D0%BC%D0%BE%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BB%D1%8C-%D1%83%D1%81%D1%8B-1845166/)]
.
Let's say we take some arbitrary person in everyday clothing.
To paint his picture (in an actual sense, using real paints), we'll need several different colors. And the more accurately we wish to represent the original, the broader the color palette we'll need.
Obviously, the colors and paints in this example are analogues to the various cards of the Minor Arcana.
.
In some cases, this set of required colors (if we don't take mixing paints into account – a process which isn't always possible) may not be all that broad.
For example:
.
Picture A young African American woman in a black dress on a black background.[622 - Downloaded from https://pixabay.com/ru/photos/модель-красивая-молодая-модель-2418465 / (https://pixabay.com/ru/photos/%D0%BC%D0%BE%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BB%D1%8C-%D0%BA%D1%80%D0%B0%D1%81%D0%B8%D0%B2%D0%B0%D1%8F-%D0%BC%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%B4%D0%B0%D1%8F-%D0%BC%D0%BE%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BB%D1%8C-2418465/)]
.
In this case, we'll need only one or two colors.
Similarly, for some objects and processes, the entire spectral set of cards will be clearly represented, in fact, by 2-3 cards.
