The distinguishing feature of the Ace of Wands is the manifestation of an "overwhelming" combination of circumstances, chances, possibilities, parameters.

Depending on the interaction in question, the extent to which these forces may be regarded as "overwhelming" is quite conditional.

A "reversed" Ace of Wands is an Ace which, for some reason, has lost its "overwhelming" power or force.

For example, you'd think that the lobsters in the Titanic's kitchen aquarium were doomed for the dinner plate.

However, when the Titanic sank after hitting an iceberg, they were saved from this fate, and given a chance for survival and freedom.

For example, being a peasant, a farmer and going with the flow seasonal agricultural cycles.
